To anyone who has bothered to add me to their Flist...

Is there anyone amongst you, or do any of you know of a decent photographer?

Today, myself and my beloved (who most of you know as miss_c667 ) have (provisionally) set a date for the wedding. 31st of August, 2007. So, now we are looking (in an attempt to keep the costs reasonable) for someone who will be willing to get the official snapshots of this event...Of course, there will be payment for anyone who can do a good job!

I don't know what it is - I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something wrong with the bike. I can't quite seem to tie it down - I just know that she's not.....right

There is a tapping noise coming from the right hand side, i think that may just be tappits, but she doesn't seem to have quite the same get-up-and-go that she usually does...

Going to strip the plugs out tomorrow, give them a clean and check for a blow somewhere in the exhaust, but... i can't help worrying that it's going to be something MAJOR, like take her off the road, skint me completely major

we'll see...

OK, a quick roundup of the last few days...

Work sucks. I need a new job (there's about 3 pages worth of ranting I could do here, but just thinking about the place makes me angry, so I wont...)

Wednesday, had a ride out to the MFN with dukanmortis, Steve C, and Ady. Met Jo there. Great turnout, great weather - really must make the effort to ride down there more during summer. (another reason I need a new job - 11pm finishes on nearly all weekdays kinda mean there's not much chance of that...)

Thurs, Had a wander into Netherfield with miss_c667 Got an Eddie Izzard vid for a £1 from a charity shop - bargain!! This was followed by myself and miss_c667 going for a ride to the new bike night at the Tollbridge Pub with my folks. Despite the complete lack of soft drinks (the Coke ran out!) it wasnt a bad night. It's good to have a local bike night - will definately be going again. Turnout was pretty decent, too - especially considering it's only in it's 2nd week....

Today - Had a ride out to J&S in Kimberly on the hunt for a new Lid for me and miss_c667 and actually managed to find one i like, that fits!!

Finally, what the frig is going on with the weather? Sunny, pissing it down, sunny again, pissing it down again....bloody UK..

I would write a lot more, but it's 1:46am, i'm tired and can't remember what else I've done...

I don't scare too easily, but i'd have to say I fear more for those I care about and their well being.
The thought of one of my friends or loved ones injuring/killing themselves scares me more than any danger

Sex. I've been riding bikes for longer, and it's somewhat more essential to daily life...

Well, this will be my first entry -

a quick recap on the last few months....

Christmas came and went with the usual far too much money being spent, lots of drunk people and a load of great pressies, my holiday got booked (scotland, next week, bike trip) I got engaged to the lovely Miss_c667 (best moment of my life so far!!) and my bike decided it wasnt playing anymore (the exhaust collapsed.)

So now, I am waiting for the "real" ring to arrive ( she has a temporary one for now) am looking deperatley for an exhaust system for a '92 XJR1200 and really looking forward to riding to Scotland.

That's it for now....
